Parents
play a crucial role in the parent-teacher-student partnership.
They are very supportive of the school – volunteering
in the classroom, helping with playground duty, arranging school
parties, and accompanying students on field trips.
Parents’ Club also arranges several community builders
as well as fundraisers during the year. Working on these social
events together has provided a strong sense of community for
many of our parents. This involvement helps to foster the feeling
of “family” that is so often referred to in describing
St. Anne School.
Parents
also serve on School Commission. This group serves as an advisory
group to the
principal. They were most recently responsible for overseeing
the development and publication of a Five Year Plan for the
school.
Parental awareness and support of our programs and activities
serve to improve the spiritual, academic and physical growth
of our students.
